The Citibank Gold is a card for the disciplined. If you can pay off your balance each month without lapsing over the interest free period, the range of services offered by the card is excellent. You earn 1 point per $1 spent toward the Citibank rewards program, which you can redeem on a range of products including Qantas Frequent Flyer points, free international travel insurance for you and your family, purchase cover, credit limits up to $60,000 and 55 days interest free on purchases.

It also currently offers 1.9% on balance transfers for 12 months.

On the downside, the interest rate is high (20.74% on purchases and 21.24% on cash) and the annual fee is $149 (about average for a gold card).

Overall, this is a solid card offering a strong range of services for an average annual fee. If you're someone who regularly lapses over their interest free period, you'd be better off going for a card with a lower interest rate and fewer features.
