Hi, Please rated over all for krisflyer Platinum cards for spending over $1000.00-5000.00 per month. Any suggestion of other cards.
Hi Jess,

Thanks for the question.

$1k-$5k per month is $12k-$60k a year -- quite a range. I'll assume an average spend of $3k a month ($36k per year).

At that rate, using the Amex only you'll earn 54,000 points (not including the 10,000 bonus points you receive for joining). That's more than enough (in most instances) for a one-way economy airfare to London from any Australian capital city.

Depending on how much you travel, that probably makes the $250 annual fee worthwhile.

On the other hand, it will depend on whether you intend to repay your balance each month. If you're planning to roll the balance over and pay interest, you could be paying upward of $900 a month (ignoring the 45 day interest free period).

$1k-$5k per month is a lot of money. You should seek professional advice from an accountant or financial planner.

Hope this helps,

Cameron.
