Earning POints on Balance Transfers with Amex

Is it possible with Amex that I can earn Membership reward points through balance transfers on their range of charge cards ?

No. Section 5.1(k) of their terms and conditions (https://catalogue.membershiprewards.com.au/getWebImage.mtw?webImageName=Ascent_Choices_and_Spirit.pdf&languageId=en_au) states:
"You will not accrue points for balances transferred from other Credit Card accounts"
Note the link is for the Ascent, Choices and Spirit programmes, but the terms also applies to Blue Sky (section 4.3) and Ascent Premium (section 5.1k).
